[OL2007] -> Any way to name a note? Instead of Note1, Note2 ??? <-

Hi,
Is there a way to do such a basic stuff as editing Outlook note
titles?

Clicking twice on its name, pressing F2, nothing changes.

Notes created are Note, Note1, Note2, Note3, and so on.

How are we supposed to create notes that would actually mean
something to the user?

Thanks for any help.

Sincerely,
Steve JORDI

I think you are making Notes on a PDA and not naming them in Outlook.
That's they way PDAs name Notes.

If you make a Note in Outlook (any version - and I did just test again on
2007) the first line of text in the Notes is the Name of the Note.

Notes are titled based on their first line, or at least that's how they work
for me.

Odd. How are you creating the notes? What view are you using? When I look
at Notes, the Subject is the first line of the note.

Thanks all,

nope, when I create a note, in Outlook, it doesn't take the first
line as the title.
Actually, no matter what I type into the note, first line with text,
first line with a return, etc... the note title remains "NoteN".

I'm showing notes by icons.
Any clue?

Steve
