OL07: The messaging interface has returned an unknown error.

I am using Outlook 2007.
I of course received an email. I am finished reading it and want to delete
it.
I have tried to delete it and I get this error: "The messaging interface
has returned an unknown error. If problem persists, restart Outlook." And
of course, I am unable to delete the email. I have tried to fix this by,
running the office detect and repair tool, I have run the fixmapi.exe tool, I
have un-installed and re-installed office and I still get the same error when
I try and delete that one email. I can delete everything else, but that one
email.
Help!

Locate and run scanpst.exe, the repair tool on your pst file, with OL closed

I have the same problem. I've run the scanpst.exe and it repaired the file
but still exhibits the same problem. I've been searching for answers but
found none. Are there any other ideas?
