Offline files not available

Dear All,

we have SBS 2003 server, with my documents redirected to
\\server\users\<user>. We' ve been using this with XP withot any problems.

With Vista, the new "documents" folder is redirected to the server, the
option "Always available offline" is checked and greyed out for all
subfolders and files - so everything seems to be ok.

However, after synchronisation, the files are not available offline. All
files are marked to be available, but explorer shows "Offline availability:
not available". Folders, on the other hand, are available offline.

Any ideas how to fix this?

TIA
Jernej

Sorry for the late response--I missed this originally. I'm checking on this
now...

Try checking to see whether your cache is full. It sounds like a folder was
pinned but the pin operation on some child items was unable to complete. To
check for cache space availability, open the "Offline Files" control panel
applet. Select the "Disk Usage" page. The page indicates the current space
usage in the cache and provides a way for a local administrator to adjust
the maximum usage limit.

The Offline Files CPL applet is listed under the "Networking and Internet"
category in the categorized control panel.
