Make Available Offline Greyed Out

Good Afternoon,
We've been automating the redirection of some default folders (ie/
Documents, Desktop) and noticing something a bit strange. I do understand
that redirecting a folder makes it automatically available offline, however,
users should still be able to deselect a folder at any time and uncheck "Make
Available Offline". In this situation, it looks like they can right click on
any offline item, however, the "Make Available Offline" option is checked and
greyed out. I have tried the policy "Do not automatically make redirected
folders available offline", however, that then seems to make nothing
available offline by default.
Any thoughts??

I know in my experience that you have to be a local admin on the computer in
order to turn offline folders on. Maybe you need local admin rights to do
what you posted.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply but the system I'm working on the user is an
administrator. I've been trying a variation of options and the only one that
seems to enable it is "Do not automatically make redirected folders available
offline", however, the problem is that if we enable that, the it turns off
all other currently existing folder redirection.

Please let me know if anyone has seen this before.
