Offline Files Disabled Permanently - HELP!

E

Eddie Geller

Hi,

I am running windows XP with SP1 and I really want to use
offline files.

My laptop is a member of our corporate domain and I want
to be able to sync files between the network and my
laptop.

But whatever I do, I can't enable offline files. I can
see the 'Offline Files' TAB when I go to Windows Exporer -
Tools -> Folder Options, but the whole dialog box area
is greyed out. Even the option 'Enable Offline Files'. I
can't enable or disable it.

I have been hunting for a solution for ages with no
success.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Eddie

Hi Eddie,

It is a group policy feature and probably has been disabled by your domain's
system administrator.
