Offline files tab missing - windows XP professional

D

dee

I have windows XP professional installed.

Offline Files tab is missing from the Folders Options under my Tools menu

My computer is a member of the domain. I have checked the following things
but still haven't been able to get the Offline Files tab

1 Fast User switching is disabled

2 Terminal services is disabled and not started

3 The group policy "Computer
Configuration\Administration\Templates\Network\Offline Files" is set as "Not
Configured"

4 The group policy "User
Configuration\Administration\Templates\Network\Offline Files" is set as "Not
Configured"

5 I also tried adding the registry key NoConfigCache under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\NetCache with a DWORD value 0

6 Executed the command "regsvr32 cscui.dll" and got a success message..

Is there something else that I need to do get Offline Files tab

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Yep, if you're a domain member, it would be.
2 Terminal services is disabled and not started

That isn't relevant. I use RD to workstations with and without offline
files....
3 The group policy "Computer
Configuration\Administration\Templates\Network\Offline Files" is set
as "Not Configured"

4 The group policy "User
Configuration\Administration\Templates\Network\Offline Files" is set
as "Not Configured"

Regarding 3 and 4, did you check this out by running rsop.msc?
