offline address book does not update in cache mode

Outlook 2003, when in cache mode will not update the address book, keeps
giving error

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The
operation failed. An object could not be found.'

get out of cache mode, error goes away, but when you start cache mode again,
new users are still not updated.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

can send mail to john @ edmiston.ws (no spaces)

Is an OAB configured on the Exchange server? If it still not works delete
the OAB files from C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
