Office XP w/ SP2..can not delete FRONTPAGE folder no matter what!

What's going on???? I'll tell you whats not going on..deleting a leftover
folder that's what! I just uninstalled Office XP to make room for Office
2003, and I can not install Frontpage 2003 because the programs\microsoft
frontpage\version3.0\bin folder and subfolder will not go away. I get an
error that says it is in use by another program or user. I tried deleting it
in safemode with the very same result. I've disabled running items,
etc..still the same thing. This is becoming very bothersome..so any advice
would surely help..andI reallydont want to do a restore or complete system
recovery..because it is time consuming, and I just did tw last week thanks to
HPs incompetent tech support..
So, help would be great! Thanks so much!!!

Really?????? I never saw it before untilI installed and uninstalled MSOffice
XP. That is so bizarre..maybe I never noticed it before..
May I ask why it's there and what it does?? Now I'm curious.

you probably never noticed it, it;s always there even if you've never had fp
on your machine.
dunno what it does..mine looks like it has fp admin snap in in the bin
folder and thats about it.

Wow. I checked my mothers computer and she has the very same folder. Guess it
has always been there afterall..well, ignorance is bliss. Before these
replies, I was trying everything to get rid of it. I was so annoyed that it
was still there even after uninstalling MS Office XP..why name a folder
"microsoft frontpage" when it has nothing to do with Frontpage! There isn't
anything in my bin. Well..guess if Microsoft put it there, it has a purpose..
I even googled it. Lots of forums with people driving themselves nuts trying
to get rid of it to no avail. Well, now I know. Thanks for the enlightenment
everyone!
I still want to know exactlly what it does tho..

Personally, my rule of thumb is...don't delete anything unless I'm
absolutely certain of what it's for...consequently I have lots of mystery
files :)
