FrontPage 2003 Upgrade not recognizing Office 2003

Hi all,

My pc crashed and I had to reinstall all my programs. Everything has gone
fine, except for FrontPage 2003 Upgrade. I installed Office 2003 first, then
I tried to install the FrontPage 2003 Upgrade and it said it needed to find a
previous version of Office or FrontPage to install the upgrade. But even when
I put the Office 2003 CD in, it wouldn't recognize it. Not on the CD and not
on my hard drive.

I have the full version of FrontPage 2002, but it's so old that about 3
characters from the Product Key are blurred out, so I can't read them.

I'm a designer (print and web) and I really need my FrontPage up. Has anyone
come across this problem before?

I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you!

Try the install again. When asked for the qualifying product, swap
the FP2003 CD for the FP2002 CD, and point the dialogue to the CD
drive. Swap the CDs again when the next stage of installation
commences. There is no need to install FP2002, and the product key is
not needed.

The Office 2003 CD is not any use here, the FP 2003 upgrade will only
upgrade from earlier versions of FrontPage, not Office 2003. When it asks
for a previous product to upgrade from you need your old FP CD instead.

Hope this helps,
