I am using win xp home edition, i need to purchase a microsoft office that
supports chinese, ie. i can type and read chinese documents. (but it is not
necessary to have the command/manual bars shown in chinese). I was wondering
if the regular version of office xp sold in the store supports chinese, or I
need to purchase something else . would anyone tell me?

MS Office in English will support East Asian languages.. Go here to
learn how to install the Chinese IME and be able to read\write
documents in Word, and other Office applications as well as Chinese
web sites.
