I have had to reset my system. Now when ever I open outlook or send a new e
mail, windows installer starts. and tries to install office. I'm no longer in
possession of the disc. lost blah blah. how do I stop this

What do you mean by "resetting" your system? Is the installer actually
asking for a CD or are you just assuming that it will?

What do you mean by 'reset'? Reboot or reinstall? There might not be a way
around the prompts.

I reset defaults. Mainly because there were some problems, and I have just
changed ISP. OL is asking for the disc.

You should be able to pick up a replacement on eBay.
