I have Office Student & Teacher Edition 2003 and a new laptop with Office
2007 Home & Student Edition. Can I install JUST Outlook from my Office
Student & Teacher Edition 2003 on the new laptop (so I will have Office 2007
Home & Student Edition with Outlook 2003)? Would it work (functionally as
well as legally)?

That's the end goal, yes. I just wanted to make sure it was actually do-able
before I try and that I wouldn't be in violation of the license agreement.
Which reminds me, the license for Office Student & Teacher Edition 2003
allows me to install it on 3 computers. Would installing just Outlook with
Office 2007 Home & Student on the new laptop change that?

That would count as 1 license. You cannot spread a single license over
multiple computer. So you cannot install Outlook on 1 computer, Excel on
another, Word on another and PowerPoint on still another. That would count
as 4 licenses and not 1.
