Office Assistant

Why when I know that the office assistant is installed, it keeps saying that there are no office assistants and I must enter steup mode to re-install them. Weird problem !!!! The assistant works in Outlook only.

Are you using all the same versions of the Office suite. This often happens
when shared components, such as the office assistants are installed in one
version (say Outlook 2000) and newer Office programs are installed, such as
FrontPage 2003 or Word 2002. The best way around this particular scenario is
to only install shared components for one version or the other since they
will conflict.
