Office Assistant

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but it is as a result of
FP2003.

I installed Front Page 2003 as an upgrade product. Since that time, my
office assistant has been totally flaky.
In Outlook, it defaults back to the original installed assistant, the paper
clip. I can change it without any problem.
Word doesn't seem to have a problem.
Exel will work sometimes, and other times it wants me to run set up to
install the assistant.

These problems only started with FP2003. It is the only 2003 product that I
have installed. At this point I do not want to upgrade everything.

Thanks for any help
Lois

When you install only part of MSO as an upgrade, do not install the MSO common tools
- last one in rules
Uninstall FP2003, then reinstall it as a custom installation w/o the MSO tools (like Office Assistant), or reinstall MSO 2000
