Office 97, Professional Edition, on Windows XP

I used Office 97, Professional Edition, on my old computer.

Is there any way to install the CD for it on my new computer which has Windows XP

Yes. Insert the CD and let it auto-start, then follow the on-screen
prompts.
 
Hi,

Office97 will run on WinXP, though you should immediately install the
service packs. If your version came bundled with a previous system, it may
be locked to it, and therefore you will be unable to install it on the new
system. This should not be a problem with a regular retail version.
