Office 2K and XP

Can anyone offer any experience as to how well Office 2K runs on XP? This
because I have the package which I never installed on W98SE and am wondering
about compatibility with XP, having just installed that on a new machine.

i'm running Office2K on my XP Pro system... no problems at all, but makes sure that if you install Office2K, that you also connect to http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/default.aspx then click on Check for Updates link to scan your system for updated office components. on a fresh install of Office2K, you will have to re-visit this site about 3 times to obtain all of the updates, since some of them are mutually exclusive, ie, they have to be installed separately from each other. one restare is required after Office2K SP1 is installed, then just keep checking for updates on the site by clicking the Check for Updates link, after all the updates have been applied, it will report your office products do not need any updates.
