Office 2003-Cut selected item but it pastes the screen shot instea

Scenario: In word or excel I copy a selection (words or cells). Then when I
go to paste into another document, it pastes a screen shot of the previous
page instead. I have noticed this happens mostly when I use the icon for
copy or cntrl+c. If I go to file and select copy, it seems to copy just what
I selected. Can anyone suggest if this is a setting problem or how to fix it?

This is likely to be caused by an add-in. Did you install something recently?
