Office 2000

I have tried to install MS Office 2000 on my Compaq
Laptop that has XP. I keep getting error messages on the
install stating that I'm missing a driver. If I go to my
desktop and copy that driver onto the laptop, than it
proceeds to tell me that I am now missing a different
driver. Has anybody incurred this problem before? Any
help would be appreciated. Please feel free to email me
your suggestions.

Dave, go to Start>Run type sfc /scannow with your WinXP CD in the
cdrom drive. This will do a check of your
System Files.
