off topic....keyboard

Off topic but cant find NG for keyboards,

I got a sweex cordless keyboard and got my son to install, he has now gone
away for a few days and I cant switch it on. The mouse/cursor(cordless)
works ok but nothing on the keyboard, eg typing this would not work as
nothing types. (i switched back to old one)

Anyone know?
