OEM install questions

I had a pc that still had Win 98A full on it, I went an bought WinXP OEM SP2
Home full version. Installed it on a small Hard drive and all my bays are
full. I want to buy a bigger HDD to replace my small one and can't afford to
buy anything else. Both Win 98A and XP are registered to me and am getting
the updates. On my old HDD I don't care about anything on it!!! All files
that I want to keep have been burned to a Data CD disk. The new HDD does not
come with anything (Software and Hardware other than the drive itself).

Questions:
1) When I install it on the new hard drive "CAN I re-regester" the same OEM
number?

2) Can I still get the updates withount having any problems?

3) Is there anything else that I need to copy before I swap the drives?

4) Is there anything else I need to know before I go ahead and do this?

5) What happens when a virus corrupts a pc and you need to format the entire
pc?
