OE6 won't let me import Inbox from my old computer

I've just purchased a new computer and want to import my folders from the old
computer. Both computers are running OE6. Specifically, I can copy over all
my .dbx folders to the new computer, but for some reason, it will not
recognize Inbox.dbx. All of the other old folders are recognized and seem to
work.

I have tried two methods: (1) Copying the .dbx files into the new Outlook
Express folder. In this case everything except Inbox is visible. (2)
Copying the .dbx files to the hard drive and then using the OE6 Import
wizard. This does not work at all. I just get an error message saying that
the files are in use and can't be read.

Can anyone suggest any reason why the first method will not allow me to read
the Inbox?
