OE to VISTA

How do I get my address book to show up in my Vista Email? I have put my
email addresses from my old comp into my new Vista
syst. and windows mail and they are stored as contacts list.
They do not show up when I try to send an email from Windows Mail. I have to
go to the list, copy it and place it in the send message myself.
I have tried to import this list into the windows mail and it won't do it.

No you don't understand.
When I click on TO: the contacts list doesn't appear.
I have tried to import, the list to the Windows Mail but it won't happen.
do I have to enter each one of the addresses seperately into Window Mail.
If I do, thats screwed up. Im not happy with Vista at all.

You have to import them into Windows Contacts, not Windows Mail. Windows
Contacts can import from WAB and CSV files.

How did you do that?
and they are stored as contacts list.

Where? Which kind of a "list"? In which program?

And how and where do you see such "contacts list"?

Which kind of "list" are you referring to?

do it.

Addresses can not be imported in "Windows Mail".
You would have to import the data from the old "Windows Addressbook"
(WAB) into "Contacts".

Method 1: If you were using OE before and NOT sharing with Outlook, Move
the *.wab file to "Documents" and import from that.

Method 2: On the old computer export the addresses to a CSV file, move that
to the new Documents and import into Windows Contacts from that.

In neither case will groups come along.
