I've stored my email (by outlook express) in a different
folder from default, in a disk other than c. I've
formatted HD and reinstalled windows. So opening for the
first time Outlook express i received new mail. I tried
to set the new storage folder like old archive and OE
told me there was a old archive in that folder: i've said
ok...result: now i have oldest email but email (only
those) i've received during the operations are lost (i
can't find them) but at start ow windows it says that
there are 10 email not still read. Question: 1) can i
retrive those 10 emails? if not how can i turn off the
advice that i have no read mail? Thanks France

Can you repost using punctuation and proper sentence structure so we know
what you're driving at?

thank you.

i've set the default folder for email in a drive
different from the default of outlook express (on hard
disk D). Then i've formmated my hard disk c. After
reinstalling windows, i've download new mail. before
reading new emails i've tried to retrieve the old emails
in the folder on D. Outlook express has "told" me that in
the folder on D there was an archive of email, and has
replaced the new mail with the old email on D. Now: I
can't find where are the new email not still read
(deleted?); at the start of windows, at the prompt of
users, there is always the messages that i have 10 email
not still read....thanks and i beg your pardon for my bad
english. France

Have you ever heard of a marvelous invention called the "carriage return and
line feed," sometimes also referred to as a "paragraph." Even if your native
language is not English, you need to structure your post.

Thank you so much...very very kind...i've a doubt: what's
your real problem...
