saving my contacts and all saved email

Lately I've been having trouble with my laptop and have backed up everything
but the info in outlook express. This is where I need some help. What is the
easiest my to back up both my contact list and my saved email folders? I've
made about 25 folders to separate and organize my mail as I received it and
have mail that is important. Then when I finish reinstalling windows XP, I'll
need to know how to install my saved contacts and email folders.

Thanks for all help......

This freeware tool backs up everything in OE in seconds. Disregard what is
written in red. That is referring to a different program.

Outlook Express Quick Backup (OEQB):

OEQB Instructions:
http://www.oehelp.com/OEBackup/oeqb.htm

You will create a folder wherever you choose as the backup folder. I put
mine in My Documents. After you backup, copy that folder to CD, DVD, Flash,
or whatever.

After the reinstall of XP, copy the backup folder to the new HD install,
load OEQB again and click Restore. I have done it a number of times with no
issue. The only thing that is not saved is your OE logon passwords which
take only a minute or so to enter.

See these also. Choose whatever option you are comfortable with. You can do
more than one just in case.
