OE 6 Text Configuration

I have just reinstalled Windows XP and the text (not HTML) in the incoming messages looks considerably different than before the reinstall. I have tried to make font changes without success. Can anyone tell me how to change the font on incoming text mssages? Thank you.
 
In Outlook Express select Tools, Options, Read.
