Odd Word 2007 visual glitch

When i first started using Word 2007, the flashing bar that shows where you
it will place the characters you type (not sure what it is called) was normal
size. Now, it is about 2 pixels tall. The only thing I can think of that may
have caused it was altering the deafult style so that it used 10 pt Calibri
with single line spaces.

Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to reinstall until I know soeone
else has fixed the problem using that or there is no other way.

That little bar is called the cursor. And it's always the height of the line
on which you time (font size). Maybe you should revert the style back to
original or try it on a different program with a rich text editor (wordpad).
If it's the same size, then it's a problem with one of your drivers (or
windows itself) otherwise it's a problem with your Office installation.
