Font changes in a default style

Using Word 2007, I set a style that uses Calibri 12 pt. and saved it as my
default style. The style works fine in a document when typing text, and the
12 pt. is what I
get. However, whenever I create a table and start typing in one of the
cells, the font
size changes to 11 pt. Why doesn't the font hold at 12 pt. when the style
(that I saved as my default style) is set for a 12 pt. font?

Will do, Bob! I'm new at the discussion board, so I'll not repeat requests
again. Thanks for the tip.

Bob--why does this issue happen in the first place. I've never had it happen
but I know others who have and we can't figure out why it happens on their
Word 2007 and not mine.
