On my Dell 333, Windows 98SE, IE6, Recently I've
discovered thousands of files being store on my disc from
what I suspect is internet surfing. When I go Windows
Explorer - C - Windows - Temporary Internet Files -
Content.IE5, there are 16 folders under Content.IE5, each
with alphanumeric names. Each of these folders contains
thousands of icons that when clicked brings up my Windows
Media Player then a second screen saying Cannot play back
the file. The format is not supported. Any idea what
these are? Are they necessary? Are they self purging or do
they keep growing? Is there a way to keep them from being
gathered? All ideas, comments, and suggestions will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.
