Object refference not set...error

After I install MS Business Contact Manager and start Outlook 2003, I get the
message: Object Reference not set to an instance of object." There is
another sentence of where to find help for this error but there is nothing
there. After clicking "OK" BCM says it has encountered a problem and must
shut down, which it does, then sends a error message to MS. After that, BCM
is no longer working and I cannot access my contacts or ad entries to my
address file. Outlook then won't re-start. It hangs in a start up mode with
no folders or messages present and it takes the "3 finger salute" or the big
red button to get out...followed by some choice words! Does anyone know why
this error and how to fix it? So far, all I can do is un-install Business CM
and use plain Outlook.
Thanks,
Jack

Weird. I have the same problem. Installed ServicePack1 for Outlook 2003 SBE,
did the restart, and checked for more updates. According to that search,
there is no SP2.

When I go to the SP2 page, it notes there is no Uninstall function, which
gives me pause.

Has anyone actually FIXED this problem by updating to SP2?

How do I know if I have V1 or V2? BCM won't run to let me look at the
"about" section. Having just bought BCM with Office 2003 Pro, (Dec 22) Where
can I get V2 if I need it. I just found SP2 for (without an uninstall) but I
will have to Re-install BCM before installing SP2...
