I recently installed Outlook 2003 with BCM. Worked fine until it crashed
while migrating business contacts into BCM folder. Now Outlook 2003 fails to
open with error message, "Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem
and needs to close." I tried several times to reopen Outlook with the same
error message each time. Finally tried uninstall/re-install of Business
Contact Manager. Same problem every time I enable the COM add-in. Is it
possible the profile is corrupted somehow and is there a way to really
uninstall BCM and all its footprints on the computer and start from the
beginning?
Running Outlook 2003 sp 3 on XP Home sp 2.
Please help

Try creating a new profile and see if BCM works in that one. If it
does, then profile corruption is a likely culprit. Remove the BCM
store from that profile and try re-adding it, in Control Panel.
