BCM will not start - get error message

Jim

Tried to install BCM on a new computer and got the following message: An
error has occurred which stops Business Contact Manager for Outlook from
starting. Remove Business Contact Manager for Outlook, and then reinstall it.
If the error recurs, click Help.

I un-installed and re-installed - didn't help. Uninstalled Norton, tried
again, didn't work. I cannot find any other options to try to get it to
work.

I have Vista 64 bit on a new Dell M1530. It had been working well on my
old computer. Outlook 07 is working fine. Thanks for any suggestions. Jim

I have the same problem you mentioned. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, etc. I have also followed all instructions related to the SQL server with no success. Did you ever find a resolution to this issue? If so, please share. If not, has anyone else come across this problem and found an answer.

Briefly...I get the following message when I attempt to configure Business Contact Manager 2007. My OS is Windows 7 and I installed Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007.

An error has occurred which stops Business Contact Manager for Outlook from starting. Remove BCM for Outlook and then reinstall it. If the error recurs, click Help.

Thank you in advance for any help anyone can provide!!!

I may be able to help. We'd need to run some tools on your computer to
understand what is actually happening.
