Object reference error message after installation. What do I do?

I installed Business Contact Manager & Outlook 2003. Outlook opened great;
including access to my BellSouth email account - but without touching any
key, the error message popped up "Object reference not set to an instance of
an object" - it told me to go to "contact us" under B.C.M. help. After I
clicked okay another window popped up to submit an error report to Microsoft.
Then it required the program to reboot - then the cycle repeated. I've
re-installed the program but get the same result. I'm using Windows XP and
Office Small Business Edition 2003. Any suggestions on what to do?

Raul,
Thank you for the suggestion. I had found and downloaded that hotfix - but
the installation was not "automatic". Your suggestion caused me to look for
it - and to activate it manually. Once run, Outlook & Business Contact
Manager both worked without the error message. I think that was just what I
needed.
Best regards,
Con

This helped me out SOOO much - Thanks, the hotpatch can be put into a
temporary directory and then 'run' from there...

OK, found the hotfix, then got the message 'please type the location where
you want to place the extracted files' what now?

It gets worse, a lot of Outlook functionality is not working. I can afford to
lose Business Contact Manager but all the info in Outlook is important to me.
