Thanks for responding Raul. But I haven't been able to find V2. Even on
Microsoft's site there is no V2. Could you give me the URL for the update?

Thank you. Cyrus

Can you provide a link or specifics on how to find this fix? I'm not
particularly sophisticated and just want to fix the error.

Raul This is getting to be Bull shit.

As a small business owner I have way too much reliance on this system and
CAN NOT AFFORD THE MICROSOFT SCREW UPS AT MY EXPENSE!.

With that off the chest take a look at this;

1. I go and down load the instance of an object.
2. Save and then run the install.
3. Restart and then open up outlook 2003 with it asking me about the
information on business contact manager.
4. It asks for creation of a new database or use existing.
5. I choose the existing and a ****ing error comes up unable to perform the
task
A. the last back up was performed using the export function over two
weeks ago with several customer data sent and stored in accounts.

B. where is the information that was there prior to this event taking
place

Again Darth Gates is enjoying product developlement at the EXPENSE of others!

Well not so fast since in the process of doing this correction the update
takes out the preexisting data that was in business contact manager. So
therefore I am assisting in R&D for microsoft instead of running my business

1. Where is the data in the previous data base that was not backed up since
the last back up

2. The error that takes place will not allow for the V2 to update the Data
in V1 to take place.

3. This is an expense that can not be continued

So I really look forward to the correction on this

Thanks for the help. I've had the same problems starting up Outlook with BCM.
The link and the download worked perfectly

Epower,
Did you find the data yet? I am in bad need of this info as well. As a non
technical user, I don't know what type of file to search for or where. I
would like to copy the data base to disc prior to updating if I could but
find the data.

Ref your item 2. Is all data added since backup lost or only data added the
day of the corrupt object

I am still getting this error message even after downloading the update. Any
recommendations?

i get this error in Outlook 2007
using Office for Small Business with BCM
Everytime i open outlook the BCM database wizard loads and i click cancel...
it seems to load twice since i have to click cancel two different times.
After i click cancel i get "Object reference not set to an instance of an
object".
This is really annoying everytime i load outlook. Is there a way to just
uninstall the BCM?

Uninstall BCM from Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs.
