Nvidia nv4_disp problems

Hello,

I am a computer tech, and in the last week have had 2 completely seperate
people report Inifinite Loop blue screens of death referencing their nv4
_disp driver. Could be a coincidence, but it seems more likely that it's
caused by a recent Windows update. They are both running XP, obviously.

Does anyone have any more data on this, or is it something that is reported
as a bug to MS yet?

Have you tried the latest WHQL'ed Nvidia drivers?

Also check that your motherboard drivers are up to date (i.e. chipset
software and the like).

Yes it has. MS06-015 / KB908531

Check here for much advice. Short version is the latest XP "patches"
did a LOT of harm.
