Numlock key stuck

I have a laptop with XP Home and the numlock key seems
tobe stuck in the on position. I've tried pressing it
several times and even held it down for about 10 seconds
thinking it was in Accessibility mode. Any workarounds to
get it in the "off" position as my laptop is unusable
with it "on". Thanks.

Have you tried using Fn (the function key) and Num Lk at the same time or
Shift and Num Lk?
