Hi All

I have numbered boxes appearing on screen? Each number seems to be
hovering over a picture element on the screen? Any ideas?

James

Where are these located? on the desktop etc?
More detail as to what you see please.

They appear in Internet Explorer when surfing the Internet. Loads of
little square boxes appear all over any web page. They do not appear to
cause any harm they are just a nuisance. They disappear after a few
minutes. My guess is they are something to do with each element on the
page but I cannot find any reference to them anywhere, and I have done
all the usual searches through the Microsoft Knowledge Database, and
Google etc.

In addition to the scans: Go to internet options and click on advanced tab,
in multimedia be sure that the option "show image download placeholders" is
not checked.
