Number of photos in My Pictures folder

What I am trying to find out is how to know how many photo are on the
computer and in the "My Pictures" folder without having to open each named
folder then highlight and look to the left of the screen to tell me how many
items are in that folder.

I have a total of 27 folders named with specific photos or events but want
to know how many photos are on the computer in those folders?

Is there a way to find out the total photos in the folder without opening
each folder and either counting the photos or highlighting and then letting
the computer tell me the number that each folder contains.

Thank you in anticipation

If you right click a folder and choose...
Properties...the number of files in the
folder is displayed.

Example:

Contains: 42 Files, 0 Folders

If you multiple select several folders by
holding your Ctrl key while selecting...
You can right click the selected group
and see the total number of files.

when it comes to knowing these things....I hope to retain this information in
my memory bank which gets a little fuzzy the older I get...LOL...anyway Thank
