A while back, I tried to install some old software in Vista. I succeeded
with some and failed with others. The reason for the failure was that
NTVDM.EXE "has stopped working." I tried to install those that failed of
installation through the Compatibility Wizard but to no avail. Then I
reformatted the drive and reinstalled Vista through recovery DVD's that I
purchased from the manufacturer. The problem remained.

I'm at an impass. The only thing I can think of is that a recovery DVD is
defective.

Would it be possible to find NTDVD.EXE on the Internet somewhere and
download it? If so, I would have to know just where to put it.

Otherwise, I will have to report this problem to the manufacturer and see
what happens.

I would appreciate some help with this one.
