I have a machine running Windows XP Home SP2 and whenever I connect to the
internet, NTOSRKL.EXE seems to load up and uses 97% of the CPU resources
causing my machine to go painfully slow and also causes the internet to not
display web pages.
Whenever I close the program, Internet Explorer seems to work fine.
I have run Microoft anti-spyware tool and it tells me that the file is a
microsoft file and when I try and dissable it, it automatically allows it to
run when the machine is re-booted.

Any help would be appreciated.

You obviously mean NTOSKRNL.EXE.

You probably have some hardware driver that is damaged or needs updating for XP. Go to start/run, and type EVENTVWR.MSC and look for
some clue to what file is having errors.

STOP: 0x0000009C (0x00000004, 0x00000000, 0xb2000000, 0x00020151) ...:

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW

Nope... it is deffinately NTOSRKL.EXE - According to microsoft Anti-Spyware
it is a Microsoft file but I cannot find any record of it on the internet.
(One other person mentioned it on a German forum and was also asked if he had
spelled it correctly)
I have ran SFC and it does not seem to have sorted the problem so I have
re-named the file for the time being and everything now seems to be ok.
Thanks for the help.
