NAV2008 and XP Pro problem

After installing NAV2008 on my XP Pro system, I noticed that when I run
Spy Bot S&D I get a message that my XP security is dissabled in the
registry. When I let S&D delete the spyware and registry values, the
value reappears. When I check the XP settings, it says everything is
good. The specific entry on SpyBot says the firewall is dissabled. Is
this caused by NAV or is there another possible virus or malware
problem? Any help will be appreciated.

Take a look at this information from the Spybot S & D web site.

Why does Spybot-S&D flag changes in the Windows Security Center?

I also use SpyBot and it reports the similar issues that you experienced,
this is because I have Windows Firewall and Windows Automatic Updates turned
off, therefore I ignore (uncheck) SpyBot's warning or attempt to fix it.
I manually update my PC and use a two way firewall such a Zone Alarm.

Also note that Norton Anti-Virus has no firewall, after NAV is installed and
you boot your PC and logon NAV will/may report if it does not see a firewall
as being active (in my case I use Zone Alarm and once in a while NAV will
load before Zone Alarm is up and running and NAV will red flag this as not
finding a firewall).
