i just got my laptop back from repair and ever since then, i have been getting this error when i start the computer. soon after hearing the beep from turning on the computer, i get an error that says something about the windows/system/ntoskrnl.exe is either missing or corrupt and windows cannot start and needs to be reinstalled. if i hit the enter key, it passes that screen and windows loads! what is irritating me most is that (guessing the problems are related) the mouse and keyboard only let me use them about 1 sec after every 2 seconds. this meaning if i try to move the mouse, the mouse constantly stops then will move again, then stops, etc... with the keyboard, if i am typing it is constantly skipping letters because of the locking up. its soooo irritating
what i have tried is replacing the ntoskrnl.exe file from my other computer where everything works fine. i still get taht error when the computer starts and still have the mouse and keyboard problems. i know i could probably take it back to repair and tell them they screwed something up but it seems like it would be an easy fix and rather do it myself. please give me some ideas, thanks!
