NTLDR missing after new harddisk

Hi all,

I was using a PII-350 , 256MB RAM. I bought a new hardisk
which is HITACHI DESKSTAR 60GB. Initial the mainboard
doesn't recognize it, but after upgraded mainboard BIOS,
it's recognized!

I boot with Win2k Pro CD and install, I created a 10GB
space(NTFS formatted)for Win2k Pro. During setup (PHASE-
1), everything are fine. But when it restart the PC, it
shows "NTLDR missing, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart". I
tried to restart also the same problem. I did REINSTALL,
but the problem still same.

What is the cause?? Please help!!! Thanks first~!!

do you have virus protection turned on in the bios ? if so, disable this
feature.
