NTLDR is missing

I get message NTLDR is missing press CTL + ALT + DEL to restart. I have XP
PRO SP2 and installed recovery console. I can not access to recovery console
during booting to copy NTLDR from cd-rom to the location (c drive).

Any idea why?

Hi

Do you get any error message when trying to access the Recovery Console?

Did everything said but it did not come up with options that are required to
start the computer from the CD-ROM it went straight to message NTLDR is
missing press CTL + ALT + DEL to restart.

Have you checked your Bios to make sure it is listed as a boot device before
the hard drive is listed? Most systems use F1, F2 or DEL keys to enter the
bios immediately after powering up. Also, if the XP cd you are using is a
copied CD it must have been created as a bootable CD. If it is not copied,
it may be damaged or your system may have an issue with the CD rom drive as
well as the HDD.
