NTLDR is missing

When I boot Win XP I get the message NTLDR is missing-press any key to
restart. When I restart, Windows loads as usual and everything seems to
work fine. So, the message is just an annoyance but I'd like to get rid
of it.

Windows may not start and you may receive an "NTLDR is missing"
error message if Windows is not up-to-date and there are too many files
in the root folder:
