ntfs security - no security tab

All my volumes are NTFS. I recently converted
them with convert volume /fs: ntfs. It worked. Now I
want to apply ntfs security but I cannot. If I right
click on any folder and click properties I only have the
General, sharing, and customize tabs; I have no security
tab. Why don't I have this tab? Here is some general
info about my PC that may or may not be of help. I have 2
hard drives. The first one is basic with a c drive. The
second one is dynamic with three volumes. I upgraded from
windows me to get xp pro.

I got it. I found the answer under this security and admin
heading. Someone else asked the question.

You have Pro, so you may either
1. do this in a safe mode boot
2. uncheck Simple sharing at bottom of the
view tab in Folder Options and then do
this in a normal boot
3. manage permissions with the cacls.exe
commandline utility (cacls /? for info)
