NTFS format

Hi,
I would like to format 1GB DOM with NTFS format.
I copied an image in XPe to above formatted DOM, and tried to deploy it.
However FBA didn't start and only cursor blinks on the left upper corner
after POST.
Did I take a wrong way of NTFS format?

did you set the partition you formatted as active?
Where did you format DOM? Perhaps the boot sector is not correct, remove the
partition and try again in a XP, XPE or 2000 device.
