ntdll.dll & ole32.dll - Regular Crashes

Dear All,

I am running Windows XP Home on an AMD Athlon2600XP/MSI computer and I have recently been experiencing a lot of crashes when using a number of different applications.

I have always experienced problems with Windows Explorer crashing and now I have similar problems with other programs. I have all of the latest service patches installed.

The errors almost always refer to the ntdll.dll and ole32.dll as the faulting module (see below for more info):

Faulting application rhino3.exe, version 3.0.2003.1209, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x000085c0.

Faulting application rhino3.exe, version 3.0.2003.1209, faulting module ole32.dll, version 5.1.2600.1263, fault address 0x00035c99.

Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x0003353b.

Faulting application photoshop.exe, version 7.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x0001fca7.

I have checked everything and removed suspect programs/drivers etc... but still no luck.

I would appreciate any suggestions as I am getting close to cleaning the drive and starting from scratch.

Thanks,

Grant Dunlop
