NTBackup not working

Hi!

Please, give me some hint how to get the NTBackup working again and giving
the Backup Wizard window opened.

Now upon opening ntbackup.exe will pop-up on the Task Manager, but nothing
else happens.

From start/run, type SFC /SCANNOW. Have the original install media for xp
available. You probably have some corrupt system file.

If no help, I would do a Repair setup of XP.
