nt on-scanner service error

Everytime that I boot up, I get the following error...." "NT On-Scanner Service" has encountered a problem and has to close." I have sent it to Microsoft on numerous occasions but that does not help, does anyone have any information that they could pass along to me so that I can fix the problem.

application. Consult McAfee's support for assistance.

Ken, sending error messages to MS doesn't get you any help. They use it
for their own purposes and don't respond back.

The "NT On-Scanner Service" comes from the OP's McAfee software. S/he
should look on McAfee's website for tech support for this known issue.
