xp slow boot nt scanner on-access error

I recently installed nortons systemworks. I also have
mcafees running. I am now having a problem with xp
booting slow. After it boots I get the following windows
error box- nt on-access scanner service has encountered a
problem-

You don't want to have Mcafee and Norton on the same system. The error
you are seeing is from Mcafee. I think you need to make a choice and
have only one antivirus program on your system.
